The aim of the project is to alleviate poverty and improve the life of those suffering from immobility due to their disability.
The wheelchairs and tricycles will Promote independence and encourage self-reliance.
TRICYCLES
Each tricycle is bespoke for the beneficiary to ensure it fullly meets their needs and requirements.
WHEELCHAIRS
Most people who have poor mobility in the villages would struggle to afford a wheelchair. The impact of a wheeled vehicle on the health and well-being would be enormous. MRF, through your support donated 160 wheelchairs to individuals to help improve their mobility and quality of life.
WHEELCHAIRS FOR HOSPITALS
Some of the hospitals and clinics have old wheelchairs. We found that some were broken and unusable. Some were very old and required updating, making it difficult for patients to move around the hospital.
