Access to Clean Water : Water Wells

Many of the remote parts of Malawi are still without clean water.

2.5 million people, which is 1 in 5 of the population still has no access to clean water.

Dirty and unsafe water is one of the major causes of ill-health and child death.

Over 3000 children die very year from cholera and other illness from water borne diseases.

Women and children still continue to spend hours in a daily ritual to travel many miles to collect clean water.

Malawi Relief Fund is committed to Improving access to clean water and reducing ill health and avoidable death. This basic essential of life can be provided for as little as £750 for a hand pump which will enhance the lives of very many people and improve their health and well-being,
