Let Us as Muslims Embrace the First 10 Days of Dhul Hijjah with Daily Charity

As Muslims, we are blessed with countless opportunities throughout the year to seek Allah’s mercy and multiply our good deeds. Among the greatest of these opportunities are the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah — days that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) described as the most beloved to Allah for righteous actions.

At Malawi Relief Fund, we want to help you make the most of these blessed days with our “10 Days of Dhul Hijjah” giving campaign. This initiative allows you to schedule a daily donation across the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah — ensuring that your good deed is repeated and rewarded throughout this sacred period.

It is narrated in Sahih Bukhari: “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.” This hadith alone reminds us of the power of consistent worship during these days — and what better act of worship than charity?

With our easy-to-use donation form, you simply enter your chosen daily amount, select your expected Eid day (anticipated to be Friday, 6th June 2025), and submit your details. Your first payment will be taken immediately, and the final one will be processed on Eid day. This way, you won’t miss a single day of reward, even if life gets busy.

Your donation type can be processed as Zakat, Sadaqah, or Lillah, and we welcome you to add instructions for specific intentions — whether it’s donating in memory of a loved one, contributing toward a cause, or giving for ongoing reward (Sadaqah Jariyah).

As Muslims, we know that giving charity is not only a duty — whether Zakaat, Sadaqah, or Lillah — but also one of the most effective ways to draw closer to Allah (SWT). The reward for giving during these ten days is magnified more than at any other time, including even Ramadan.

Let’s not forget the immense blessings of the Day of Arafah (9th Dhul Hijjah), which the Prophet (ﷺ) called the day on which “Allah frees more people from the Fire than on any other day.” (Sahih Muslim). Fasting, dhikr, prayer, and charity on this day carry unparalleled merit.

At Malawi Relief Fund, we use your donations to deliver vital aid in Malawi — from providing clean water and food, to supporting orphans, education, and healthcare. Your daily donation truly makes a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

We also humbly request a small optional contribution to help cover transaction and admin costs — so even more of your donation reaches the people who need it.

Let’s take this chance to maximise our rewards. Let us come together as an Ummah, uplift the lives of others, and strengthen our connection with Allah (SWT) through consistent charity.

May Allah accept all of our deeds during these most beloved days — Ameen.
